EDIT: Also, I am someone who uses the drug occasionally in a responsible and moderated manner. As someone who knows the affects first-hand, you'd have to be completely ignorant to say it doesn't affect cognitive ability while directly under its effects and often a day or so afterward.

The USA bans all studies on marijuana. So how is there any reliable information? From Europe. They do the studies that show WHAT IS TRUE.

USA government makes up **** and hopes you are dumb enough to believe it. It is very easy to skew facts to make it look like something else.

I actually think it SHOULD be legal, but that doesn't make me blind to the fact that it affects your mind in negative ways. Alcohol is illegal but you'd have to be completely ignorant to think it doesn't kill brain cells. I think it should be legal and available to adults and that people should be able to make up their own minds instead of living in a nanny-state where the government tells everyone how to live their lives.

It does give your mind a certain Edge... not saying it makes you smart.. But it also does not make you stupid. Jus balances your brain, it is scientific research ...you can google if you want, or I could find the link if youre lazy.

Marijuana is psychoactive because it stimulates certain brain receptors, but it does not produce toxins that kill them (like alcohol), and it does not wear them out as other drugs may.
