Right. The stimulation you're talking about affects your brain chemistry though. What happens is that it releases a certain chemical into your brain which locks dopamine into their receptors. Dopamine is one of the brain chemicals that causes joy, which is what gives the "high" feeling.
However, this modification of your brain chemistry also affects other cognitive functions. For example, your brain doesn't produce as much dopamine normally if the use is excessive. This is why a lot of extreme users often feel a need to use the drug in order to feel joy.
If anything this is an imbalance, not a balance.
EDIT: Also, you criticize me for using government studies calling them "propoganda", yet your 420magazine articles are supposed to be unbiased?
