EMEA Arena Challenge - Stand For Noxus

It’s time to make a name for yourself with the Stand For Noxus - Arena Challenge, live now!

As Noxus demands, only the strongest in EMEA will survive with the return of the Arena game mode in League. To test strength and skill, we’re running a series of gruelling yet exhilarating challenges, open to all players, with hundreds of prizes waiting to be claimed on our FTW website.

Stand For Noxus will be split into three rounds, each with a unique leaderboard to test your skills. And the first two rounds will have a performance requirement you will have to meet in order to qualify for and participate in the following round. 

Every player that qualifies for the next round will receive an exclusive emote while only the strongest and most dedicated warriors will earn extra loot with rewards being handed out to the top 200 players in each leaderboard.

How to Participate

Simply head to the challenge page here on our FTW website and click the big “Join” button. You’ll need to be 13 years old or over and sign into FTW with your Riot ID in order to participate.

Once joined, all of your Arena matches will be automatically tracked in FTW and start earning you points - but be sure to join before the end of Round 1 as you won’t be able to do so afterwards

And please note, for these challenges only games played as a solo player or as a premade duo will count. Taking up half of the lobby as eight friends is a great way to play but for these tests of skill, it needs to be a fair fight.

Round 1 -  The Fighting Pits

Time and Date: March 10 12:00 UTC - March 24 03:00 UTC

Qualification: Players will qualify for Round 2 by meeting at least one of the following criteria:

• Main Path: Earn 50 points or more
• Champion Mastery: Be in the top 10% for your played champions, for example Darius, based on average KDA (minimum 10 Arena games finished)

“Main Path” points system: 

Maximum points possible in a single game is 10, when playing, and winning, with a unique champion for the first time.

  • 1st: 10x Fighting Pit Orbs, 4x Mystery Epic Skin

  • 2nd - 4th: 8x Fighting Pit Orbs, 3x Mystery Epic Skin

  • 5th - 7th: 6x Fighting Pit Orbs, 2x Mystery Epic Skin

  • 8th - 10th: 4x Fighting Pit Orbs, 1x Mystery Epic Skin

  • 11 - 50: 3x Fighting Pit Orbs, 1x Mystery Epic Skin

The first round is a warm-up for your gladiatorial skills but make no mistakes… it won’t be easy.

To reach Round 2, you can follow your own path of qualification.  

You can either test yourself on the main path and show your flexibility in battle by conquering the arena while playing a variety of champions. 

Or, you can prove just how lethal you are on your main by finishing in the top 10% of KDA for your champion after a minimum of 10 games played. You could also find a niche champion (sorry, Kled) and strategy that most have missed and finish in the top 10% of that champion instead. The element of surprise can be a lethal weapon in the right hands.

No matter which path you follow, it will take true grit and talent to rack up enough points to place within the top 200 and claim all the loot on offer.

Round 2 - Strength Above All

Time and Date: March 24 04:00 UTC - March 31 03:00 UTC

Qualification: Players will qualify for Round 3 by meeting the following criteria:

• Base criteria: Play and finish at least 5 Arena games during Round 2
• And complete at least one of the following:
  • Finish in the top 4, 4 times in a row

  • Finish in the top 4 with 5 different champions played

  • Finish in the top 4 with 5 different player duos

  • Get 30 kill participations (kills or assists)

• 1st: 10x Fighting Pit Orbs, 4x Mystery Epic Skin

• 2nd - 4th: 8x Fighting Pit Orbs, 3x Mystery Epic Skin

• 5th - 7th: 6x Fighting Pit Orbs, 2x Mystery Epic Skin

• 8th - 10th: 4x Fighting Pit Orbs, 1x Mystery Epic Skin

• 11 - 50: 3x Fighting Pit Orbs, 1x Mystery Epic Skin

• 101 - 200: 2x Fighting Pit Orbs, 2x Random Emote

• ALL Qualifying Players: Custom Emote

Here, the difficulty spikes. This is where you truly demonstrate that you’re a worthy Noxian fighter. Step back into the arena and show that your skills are so great that you could even catch the attention of Draven.

This time around, there are no points. Within four days, you will need to play at least 5 games and complete at least one of the additional criteria listed above to reach the final round.

And in order to top the leaderboard, you’ll have to qualify for Round 3 AND establish dominance with the highest win percentage to receive the rewards for finishing within the top 200.

Round 3 - The Grand Reckoning

Time and Date: March 31 04:00 UTC - April 7 04:00 UTC

Challenge: Complete as many of the objectives set by the 10 Guests of Honour as you can

You’ve completed the gauntlet and pushed yourself to the limit. Now it’s time to go one step further and realise your full potential against the final boss(es).

We have gathered 10 of EMEA’s most beloved gladiators (LoL influencers and pro players) and tasked them in secret with skill-intensive objectives that perfectly suit their masterful skill sets. It’s your job to defeat their personal bests.

And we’re not giving you any time to prepare, there won’t be any spoilers from us on what these tasks will be until Round 2.

To place on the leaderboard, you will need to defeat as many of our Guests of Honour as possible.
