Over the past four years, TFT (Teamfight Tactics) has inspired countless memes, legendary gameplay highlights, and showcased intense competitions that have built up a passionate fan base.

Speaking of competitions, our journey has made us realize that TFT is truly unique. It stands apart as an individual performance-based game that grants players the freedom to experiment with various compositions. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, climbing the ladder and mastering the game is within reach, regardless of your location or preferred gaming platform.

To achieve this, we are expanding our esports events and opening more of them to anyone who wants to compete," says Michael Sherman, Global Head of TFT. "Recognizing the incredible potential of competitive TFT, we are thrilled to announce our first-ever global LAN event, which will take place this December in Las Vegas."

The Event

Tacticians from all over the globe will have the opportunity to compete in-person for the first time this December 8-10 at the MGM Grand on the Las Vegas Strip. The competition will be played on the upcoming Set 10, which was previously announced as being our most innovative set yet. Unlike traditional Set Championships, this event will focus on players' ability to quickly adapt to the new set rather than their mastery at the end of one.

The Competition

The event will feature an open bracket format, with 512 spots available for aspiring competitors. Whether you’re a Challenger player in LATAM or one of the top streamers from France, you can claim a spot to compete in Las Vegas among other competitors from all backgrounds around the world. Details for how to obtain a competitor pass will be shared at a later date but there will be some priority given based on Set 9 ladder rankings, so be sure to start climbing for a better shot at a pass when they’re available!

As competitive TFT continues to evolve, the global LAN event in Las Vegas is the first step towards the future of TFT esports.
