Are you looking to organise a Teamfight Tactics community tournament and seeking guidance on how to get started? The Teamfight Tactics Licensed Community Tournament Guidelines provide a quick overview of tournaments you are allowed to organize in the region, whether it’s a friendly battle with your friends or a more competitive event.
Four levels of tournament license are available. These licenses are granted on a per-tournament basis, with the level of license required depending on both the nature of the proposed tournament and the nature of the applicant.
Please read the full APAC Licensed Competition Guidelines, found HERE, before planning your tournament to better understand if you must apply for a tournament license. Have questions? Reach out to us via apac-competitive-experiences@riotgames.com.
Once your tournament license is approved, you may utilise the Teamfight Tactics Small Tournament Asset Pack to create assets to promote your tournament. Riot Games may also require you to submit any use of Riot Games logos or trademarks for approval no less than 14 days before their proposed use.
On the condition that you follow all of the guidelines described in this policy (the “Guidelines”), our Legal Jibber Jabber, and our Terms of Service, Riot Games, Inc. (“Riot”, “we”, or “us”) grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-transferable, revocable, limited license (“Community Competition License”) for you to organize and operate a League of Legends or competition (the “Competition”), but we may take action or otherwise shut down any competition at any time if we decide it violates or misinterprets these Guidelines, our Terms of Service, or any of our other policies, promotes or represents anything contrary to our Values, or otherwise uses our intellectual property (“IP”) inappropriately.
We’re excited to get you started and look forward to being a part of your event. If you’re ready to apply, submit an application via this FORM.
