Welcome to the first League Classic community poll. Our goal with these polls is to involve you, the community, in the direction that we take League Classic. Questions in these polls cover two broad types: 

  • Sentiment, which we use to identify broad areas to investigate and directions for improvements.
  • Binding, which we use to make the call on an approach for an improvement.

Voting can be done in “The Council” tab in the League client and is open for seven days, with the first running from August 26 through September 2. Eligible players may answer each question and change their answers until the poll closes. Each point of voting power gives one vote on each question. We’ll publish the results after voting closes in the Patch Notes.

This first poll covers questions across a few areas: game length, item revivals, and some map features. You can skip questions if you don’t have an opinion about the topic.

How does game length feel?

When is a game too long?

  1. 30 minutes
  2. 40 minutes

Which of these items do you want us to revive in Classic? Each item that scores higher than 50% is added, including “All 3.”

Should Classic add jungle timers? If options 1 and 2 receive more than 50% combined, the higher of those two options wins.

  1. Yes — Add modern jungle timers that are always visible on the minimap
  2. Yes — Only when the scoreboard is open
  3. No — Keep the current minimap

Base gates were added at the start of Season 5 to give the defending team a way to protect its base without relying on more extreme comeback mechanics. Should we keep base gates in the game?
