TFT Monsters Attack! Championship Primer

Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming global tournament.

The ultimate monster cookoff is just around the corner! We previously announced the prize pool and regional Seeds allocation, and now we’re ready to share more information on the format, Pick’Ems, Drops, and broadcast schedule.

As we approach the final course of the TFT Monsters Attack! Set, we’re seeing the finest Tacticians rise up across the globe to stake their claim on the ultimate prize - $150K USD and the giant golden spatula. On May 26 - 28, we’ll see who earns the title of the Monsters Attack! Champion.

Format

Throughout the tournament, points will be awarded to each player based on the results of each game: 8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1 (ie: first place wins 8 points, eighth place wins 1 point).

Day 1

  • Players will be split into groups of 8 and play 6 games each
  • Lobbies will be shuffled after game 3
  • All 32 players will advance from Day 1 to Day 2

Day 2

  • Players maintain their points from Day 1
  • Players will be split into groups of 8 and play 6 games each
  • Lobbies will be shuffled after game 3
  • Top 8 players will advance from Day 2 to Day 3

Day 3

  • The top 8 players will play in a checkmate format
  • The first player to earn 18 points, and then get 1st place in a game will be crowned the TFT Monsters Attack! Champion.

The games will be played on patch 13.10.

Pick’Em + Rewards

Pick’Em is back for the Championship! Test your knowledge and prediction skills by participating in the Monsters Attack! Pick'Em. If your picks take you to the top of the leaderboard, you’ll earn rewards such as Little Legend Eggs, the Championship icon, and mystery emotes! Head over to Riot.com/TFTWorlds to punch in your picks.

Drops

Tune into the live broadcast on May 26-28 for your chance at some exclusive Drops. Drops will be available on Lolesports.com, YouTube, and Twitch.

Broadcast Schedule

Games will be served beginning at 4AM PDT / 1PM GMT+2 on each day of competition.
